Collingwood Invitational Story Slam | 7:30 PM
In addition to the interactive workshop, the Collingwood Invitational Story Slam at the Simcoe Street Theatre is the marquee event of the day. Prepare for an evening of riveting entertainment as eight to ten master storytellers take the stage to compete in a thrilling showdown. Each storyteller has only six minutes to captivate the audience with their tales, weaving narratives that range from heart-warming to spine-tingling. The tension builds as both a panel of discerning judges and the audience cast their votes, deciding who will rise to claim the coveted title of ultimate storytelling champion. The excitement does not end there—stay for the featured act, the incomparable comedian and storyteller Ali Hassan, whose performance is sure to leave you in stitches. The night culminates in the crowning of this year’s storytelling victor, making it an unforgettable celebration of the art of storytelling.
