With over 30 years in hospitality and events, Amanda is an award-winning wedding producer, CEO of The Wedding Society, and a best-selling co-author of One Decision Away. Passionate about fostering inclusive, community-driven businesses, Amanda promotes destination weddings across Canada while guiding women toward personal empowerment through intuitive guidance and mindset mentorship.

Pike Krpan – Firefighter & Advocate for Women in the Fire Service
Serving as a firefighter for the City of Hamilton since 2013, Pike is also the President of Fire Service Women Ontario, an organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering women in the fire service. A dedicated mentor and advocate for gender equity, Pike actively works to break barriers and foster inclusivity in the industry.
Michele Smeh – Women’s Health & Fitness Advocate | Panel Moderator
A 19-year breast cancer survivor, BRCA1 carrier, and high-level fitness trainer, Michele has built a career dedicated to women’s well-being. As a CrossFit Level 2 Coach and creator of the 90 Day Strong and Slender System, Michele specializes in guiding women through hormonal changes, post-menopause wellness, and sustainable fitness. With deep personal experience overcoming the challenges of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and surgical menopause, Michele is passionate about helping women reclaim health, confidence, and strength.
Kim Turley-Smith, MEd – Women’s Wellness Leader & Educator
Founder of SHE Getaways, a groundbreaking women’s wellness retreat series celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025. Voted ‘Best in Canada’ by Get Out There Magazine, SHE Getaways offers sold-out camps, events, and workshops focused on women’s well-being. With expertise across leadership, healthcare, education, and athletics, Kim develops evidence-based programs in mindfulness, health, and positive psychology while delivering psychoeducation workshops for CMHA Ontario. A self-described “moment collector,” Kim embraces the importance of meaningful experiences, especially at events like this one.
