Women & The Wind
Join us for a stirring evening of storytelling, ocean adventure, and environmental awareness with a special screening of Women & the Wind. This documentary follows three courageous women as they cross the North Atlantic aboard a 50-year-old wooden catamaran, confronting the physical demands of life at sea and the emotional depths of self-discovery. Along their journey, they also bear witness to the alarming reality of plastic pollution riding the Gulf Stream toward Europe.
What begins as a mission to trace the trail of ocean plastics becomes a transformative voyage of inner strength, feminine resilience, and deep connection to nature. With breath-taking footage and raw honesty, the film offers a rare glimpse into the synergy between humanity and the ocean.
🎟️ $5 from every ticket sold supports Sail Georgian Bay, Meaford’s local sailing school, helping the next generation take to the water.
