International Women’s Day

Date & Time:

March 4 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring International Women’s Day celebration featuring award‑winning comedian, speaker, and author Kate Davis, renowned for blending sharp humour with meaningful insight. With more than two decades of experience, Davis has helped audiences navigate stress, relationships, and resilience through her signature comedic lens. She is also the author of “Second Best Mom”, a candid and hilarious collection of stories that explore the realities of motherhood with honesty and heart. Her performances resonate for their relatability, warmth, and ability to turn shared experiences into moments of connection.

The evening will also include special contributions from Collingwood’s Poet Laureate, My Friend’s House, and The Common Thread, who will share stories highlighting the important work happening in Collingwood to support women and the ongoing significance of International Women’s Day in our community.

A Spotlight on My Friend’s House
We’re honoured to welcome My Friend’s House, a vital non-profit supporting women and children facing abuse in the Georgian Triangle, as they share insights into their impactful work and how we can all contribute to safer, more supportive communities. If you’re interested in making a donation to help sustain the essential programs they provide, please visit CanadaHelps through the Town of Collingwood’s International Women’s Day page.

Good Food, Good Company
Following the show, guests are invited to a networking session featuring food from Low Down, along with a book signing with Kate Davis, an opportunity to meet, connect, and continue the conversation. Gather with friends, connect with inspiring women, and be part of a movement that’s driving change.

Sponsorship
International Women’s Day is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, Living Shore Spa, Living Water Retirement Residence, and Quaintrelle Medical Aesthetics.
