Journey into the Arctic – SOLD OUT

Embark on an unforgettable journey into the Arctic with Collingwood paddler John Carswell at the upcoming event hosted by the Collingwood Paddling Club. Delve into two decades of exploration as Carswell shares captivating tales from his annual summer excursions to the Canadian High Arctic. From the breathtaking landscapes to the vibrant local communities and diverse wildlife, Carswell’s presentation promises to offer a unique perspective on this remote region of Canada.

Born and raised in Collingwood, Carswell’s passion for adventure led him to establish the Collingwood Paddling Club, providing access to the waterfront that shaped his childhood. Now, he’s giving back to the community by sharing his Arctic experiences while fundraising for the club’s youth summer camp program. Join us for an enlightening evening on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Simcoe Street Theatre. Your ticket not only grants you access to this enriching event but also supports the club’s mission to empower young paddlers and enhance their outdoor experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the wonders of the Arctic firsthand.
