The Ants & The Grasshopper
The Ants and the Grasshopper is a profound and deeply humanizing documentary that flips the classic Aesop fable on its head to address the climate crisis. The film follows Anita Chitaya, a remarkably tenacious and compassionate Malawian farmer and activist who has successfully tackled patriarchy and hunger in her own village. When devastating droughts and floods caused by climate change threaten to destroy her community’s progress, she sets out on a challenging journey to the United States.
