Blending intimate narrative with contemporary dance\, the production invites audiences into a rarely spoken conversation—one that challenges shame\, dismantles silence\, and celebrates bodily autonomy. Each vignette explores a woman’s relationship with her vulva—at times celebratory\, at times complex\, raw\, humorous\, or deeply moving. These stories are embodied by dancers Catherine Lafond and Jodi Behan\, who interpret each narrative through expressive\, emotionally resonant movement\, giving physical form to what is often hidden or suppressed. Woven between the vignettes\, Fran Bouwman—artist\, educator\, comedian\, and founder of Viva la Flying Vulva—offers historical and contemporary context\, situating the personal stories within a broader cultural framework. Her reflections illuminate how social conditioning\, language\, medicine\, and media have shaped our relationships to our bodies—and how reclamation begins with curiosity and compassion.
